Post-Stroke Language Rehab
This program helps individuals with post-stroke language impairment or aphasia to improve their speech, language, and communication skills. We welcome both people who suffer from speech-language impairment / aphasia and their families to this program. They will learn about post-stroke language impairment and will receive support and training to facilitate easy language use in daily activities.
Our group participants have found these classes helpful when participating in everyday communication opportunities. This will result in regaining confidence. Group participants find support by sharing their experiences and emotions with other members.
Learned strategies and tips from this program facilitate easy communication between family members and friends, leading to increased confidence and easier participation in everyday communication opportunities. Group participants find it helpful to share experiences and emotions with other members. Our program is designed and run by an experienced speech pathology personnel.
